Hej!

I'm Julia, a motion designer and illustrator based in Stockholm.

In 2017, I completed the Motion Creative programme at Hyper Island, and decided to try my luck in London - I ended up staying for over eight years!

I’ve had the chance to work full-time for some amazing animation studios such as Animade and Cookie studio, in post-production for Gramercy Park Studios and for the integrated creative agency TMW and their in-house team MOVE Studio.

I’m a bit of a 2D generalist, illustrator and editor all in one, and on my own time I always come back to drawing up quirky characters and flowers, as well as the odd watercolour here and there.

I relocated back to my hometown Stockholm in 2025, and have recently joined the quirky and playful game studio Toca Boca!
