This is my Cookie Ident! I made this while doing my internship at Cookie in 2017 and the rules were pretty straight forward: Make a fun design and animate it for five seconds. Both working on 16:9 and with a provided frame.
This is what I came up with! The second image showing the provided frame, and version one of the design. And the last image is the mood-board I put together.
I made this in Illustrator and After Effects.
I wanted to play around with creating fun backgrounds in After Effect, so I made a very basic animation and tried out different effects and looks for the same animation and I got these funky looking bits.
In 2017 we designed and animated a series of six award winning adverts for Pringles.
It was a big project, requiring a huge variety of skills and techniques. I played a key role in developing the styleframes, animatics, animation and final delivery together with the rest of the team.
I had a particular focus on ‘Nacho Cheese’ and ‘Spring Onion’ which you can see here. From animating all the assets (the stop-motion corns and instruments, crips, cheese, falling petals and so on), to placing the items in 3D space, rotoscoping the actor and grading.
I illustrated several elements used throughout all six films, you can see some of these at the bottom of the page.
Creating the stop-motion was great fun, and required a lot of concentration, as you can see on my face on the last picture taken on set!
We were developing a few social ads for XBOX back in 2017 and here are a few things I worked on.
- Animation test
- Design and illustration development.
- Sketch for composition (fitting both for full and cropped social screens)
For Valentine’s Day 2018 I made a cheeky little loop at Cookie Studio.
I used illustrator and After Effects for this one!
For the Royal Wedding 18’ we made a little video with the different Royal family members. This is my Queen Lizzy, one of my first cel-animated projects (Animate)!
During my time at Cookie Studio I have been given the chance to illustrate our lovely logo. Here are couple I’ve made as well as some process sketches!
For the World Cup 2018 we made a little salute at work, where I did the design and animated the type. Character Animation Cookie Studio.
Fresh 18 needed some transitions and text added to existing images to promote their creative talent competition. My collegue and I had a day to do it; so we worked efficiently, creating two transitions each, which were applied to the 8 images.
I wanted to play with patterns, so I did this little looping guy!
A couple of experiments in Photoshop and After Effetcs!
A little frame by frame (Animate) looping gif I made for Father’s Day.
Done at Cookie Studio.
Me, Caroline Gard and Emelie Andersson created six videos for FATTA Samtycke during the fall of 2017. This campaign was to raise awareness of sexual consent and how we express consent.
These are the two I created.
A little looping dancing queen for the Queens birthday in 2018.
Made at Cookie Studio.
A couple of letters done at Cookie for a collective 36 days of type!
I’m diving into the cel-animation world, and these are the first couple of animations and WIPs I’ve completed of Henrique Barones online course.
Every now and then when I have little moment, I like to do watercolours. So here are a few!
Back in 2016, when I attended Hyper Island and their Motion Creative Programme, I took part of the year’s biggest student-curated interactive art exhibition: Raw Answers. It took place at the old warehouse of Nobelberget, in Stockholm Sweden.
My groups contribution was an interactive 80’s retro VJ-experience.
We built a scenery with nine cubes, on to which we projected looping imagery, connected to a specific sound which was activated by a synth and drummachine.
The exhibition and our stand was a hit, it was an amazing experience both to produce and to be part of.
You can read more about the event and see images from the night here.
Here below you can see the “Behind the scenes” of our installation, that my teammember Erika and I put together.
The following video also shows a snipped from how it looked and sounded.
The gifs are examples of visuals that I created and the logo I made.
We made a little salute at Cookie Studio for St Patrick’s Day. And this is the part I designed and animated.
APA were holding an event for their clients and needed a video introduction to their night. They had the script and idea and we helped in making it come to life. We had about three weeks to deliver, so it was a quick project.
Shown here are the collage style politicians and cherubs I animated, as well as a few of the design assets I created.
